IKON International required a similar digital transformation to Hydrotops, built on the same core stack --- Next.js with TypeScript, Sanity CMS, and PostgreSQL authentication --- but with an additional layer of complexity in the business logic. They needed bespoke, client-specific discount structures that would display unique pricing within each customer's portal. Every shop sees their own negotiated rates when they log in --- a feature that would be virtually impossible with an off-the-shelf platform. The pricing engine is rule-based and fully configurable through the admin panel, supporting tiered pricing based on order volume, pallet-quantity thresholds that trigger automatic percentage discounts, and bundled product deals --- for example, ordering products X, Y, and Z together automatically applies a promotional offer or adds a complimentary item. The same i18n setup provides multi-language support for their European customers, and the CMS gives their team full control over content and product information. All pricing rules can be created, modified, and tested by IKON's sales team directly, without any developer involvement.
