The Problem

Nootro Group is a GMP-certified UK supplement contract manufacturer producing capsules, gummies, powders, oils, and topicals --- offering private label and white label manufacturing with in-house formulation and full product development support. They came to us because their business had outgrown their digital infrastructure. Orders were handled entirely over the phone and tracked in spreadsheets. Customers had no visibility into the status of their orders and were constantly chasing for updates. There was no central reporting system, no self-service capability, and the admin burden was consuming time that should have been spent on production and sales.

What We Built

We delivered a comprehensive overhaul. We refreshed their brand design, produced high-quality video and photography of their manufacturing processes, and --- most importantly --- built a bespoke digital platform from the ground up. The front end runs on Next.js with TypeScript, delivering a fast, server-rendered experience with full type safety across the codebase. The back end is built on Express with TypeScript, connected to a PostgreSQL database handling authentication, order data, product catalogues, and customer records. Website content outside the dashboard --- landing pages, product information, company content --- is managed through Sanity CMS, giving the marketing team full editorial control without developer involvement. The customer-facing portal allows approved clients to log in, browse products, and place their own orders with configurable priorities on individual line items. Full order tracking and automated email notifications keep customers informed at every stage without a single phone call. On the admin side, the dashboard provides complete analytics and visibility across all orders, the ability to place orders on behalf of customers, and full management of products, overage offers, and packaging stock. The system has replaced the spreadsheets, the phone calls, and the chasing --- and given Nootro a scalable infrastructure that grows with their client base.

The Outcome

The result has been transformative. Administrative burden dropped significantly, miscommunications were virtually eliminated, and the sales team was freed up to focus on what they do best --- winning new business. The platform has driven increased investment in the company, a measurably better client experience, higher-volume orders, and a higher-quality lead flow through to their sales team.
