Aura Heritage Website Project
Aura Heritage, a local company to us who specialise in the conservation of listed and historical buildings, sought our expertise in creating a modern and performant website to showcase their services and establish a robust online presence.
The Problem
Aura Heritage needed a website that could effectively present their specialized services while highlighting their commitment to preserving historical and listed buildings. They required a custom content management system (CMS) for easy content updates, including services pages, case studies, team bios, and new items.
The Solution
We designed and developed a website using the efficient Next.js framework, incorporating unique scrolling animations to create an immersive user experience. We also built a custom CMS using Sanity.io, providing Aura Heritage with a flexible and user-friendly tool to manage their all content updates themselves.
Challenges
A primary challenge was designing a site that was both modern and respectful of the heritage aspect of the client's services. In addition, the development of a custom CMS to cater to Aura Heritage's specific needs was a fairly substantial task.
Solutions
Our web design team created a design that balanced modern usability with unique scrolling animations which added a layer of depth to the user experience.
We also developed a custom CMS using Sanity.io, which gave Aura Heritage the flexibility to manage their content easily, including updates to services, case studies, team profiles, and blog posts, without requiring extensive technical knowledge.
Results
Since the launch of the new website, Aura Heritage has seen a gradual increase in organic search results. The Aura Heritage team has found the custom CMS easy to use, enabling them to keep the site updated with fresh content regularly.
Future Plans
Moving forward, we plan to continue monitoring the website's performance, user engagement, and make necessary adjustments to ensure it remains up-to-date with changing trends.
We also aim to further refine the custom CMS based to potentially include multi-language support.
